HVAC Refrigeration Full Job Description Summary/objective :

This position works as a team player to complete maintenance tasks in an around the property. Tasks will vary dependent upon need, and willingness to be flexible and adapt is necessary. Essential functions : You will be responsible for applying basic fixes to commercial refrigeration equipment and building systems. Perform minor fixes, routine maintenance and cleanings, install appliances and equipment, inspect and troubleshoot equipment and systems, check functionality of systems, collaborate with workers and other professionals during renovations.

Competency :

Basic knowledge of electrical and HVAC is preferred. Must be a team player with a positive attitude, good communication, and interpersonal skills. A quick learner with the desire to gain new knowledge is preferred.

Supervisory responsibilities:

None. Work environment : United Fruit and Produce is a fast-paced, energized environment. Dependent upon the assignment, projects may require working in varying temperatures and locations around the properties, noisy environments, etc. Physical demands : Employees must be able to withstand working on their feet, lifting at least 50lbs., and withstand working in hot and cold environments. Position type and expected hours of work : This is a full-time position with opportunities for over time. Hours will vary dependent upon need, but will generally run from Monday-Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm, and weekend availability

Travel :

Although travel is not required, employees must have reliable transportation to and from work to ensure punctual attendance. Required education and experience : Must be 18 years of age and authorized to work in the U.S. Must be trustworthy, honest, and dependable. Experience in HVAC maintenance or other comparable work where similar skills are utilized is a plus.
