Our client is looking for an experienced Refrigeration Technician to join their industrial facility in southeastern North Carolina. This role works on ammonia- and freon-based refrigeration systems that are critical to daily production operations.

Refrigeration Technician Responsibilities:

Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair on industrial ammonia and Freon refrigeration systems Conduct routine inspections to catch potential issues before they cause downtime Respond quickly to refrigeration system malfunctions to minimize production impact Maintain accurate service, repair, and maintenance records Partner with plant operations and maintenance teams to support overall facility uptime Follow all required safety protocols when working with ammonia-based systems

Refrigeration Technician Requirements:

5+ years of hands-on experience with industrial ammonia and Freon refrigeration systems Background in a protein, food processing, or similar industrial manufacturing environment CIRO or CARO certification (or actively working toward one) Strong troubleshooting skills and mechanical aptitude
