Perfect for a technician who is already employed and looking for a part time opportunity outside their current employment. In this vital role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, maintaining, and troubleshooting a wide range of mechanical, electrical, refrigeration, and HVAC systems essential to our restaurant operations. Your expertise will ensure that all equipment functions efficiently, safely, and reliably, contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated technician with a passion for mechanical systems and customer service to make a tangible impact in a fast-paced environment. Duties Repair, and maintain refrigeration units, HVAC systems, boilers, and other mechanical equipment across restaurant locations. Troubleshoot electrical diagnostics issues using tools such as ohmmeters and schematics to identify faults accurately. Perform routine preventive maintenance on HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/Refrigeration) systems to ensure optimal performance. Conduct equipment troubleshooting and repairs involving plumbing, welding, and mechanical systems repair to minimize downtime. Ensure compliance with EPA regulations related to refrigerants and ammonia refrigeration systems while handling refrigerant recovery or recharging procedures. Support property maintenance activities by performing appliance repair and general mechanical system upkeep. Utilize hand tools effectively for various repair tasks while adhering to safety standards. Document all service activities thoroughly in maintenance logs and reports. Experience Proven with service technician experience in HVAC/R or related fields. Hands-on experience with HVAC system installation, repair, and maintenance in commercial or restaurant settings. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues efficiently. Familiarity with schematics, building automation systems, electrical diagnostics, plumbing, welding, and boiler operation is highly desirable. Experience working with ammonia refrigeration systems is a plus. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (including driver if applicable). Experience in working with frymaster fryers, shale machines, grills and other restaurant equipment.
