Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and reliable Commercial Refrigeration Technician to join our growing service team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, diagnostic troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of commercial and industrial refrigeration systems. You will work on a variety of equipment including parallel rack systems, walk-in coolers/freezers, display cases, and ice machines in supermarket, food retail, and cold storage environments. Roles and Responsibilities Troubleshoot and repair commercial refrigeration systems, electrical components, and complex electronic control networks. Perform routine preventive maintenance on parallel racks, condensing units, evaporators, compressors, and chillers to maximize system efficiency. Brazing and piping of suction, liquid, discharge, and drain lines during equipment retrofits and system upgrades. Recover and charge refrigerants safely in strict compliance with federal EPA guidelines and local environmental laws. Read blueprints and technical schematics to isolate electrical mechanical failures or execute installation plans. Participate in an on-call rotation schedule to handle emergency after-hours service requests for business clients. Maintain documentation of services performed, system settings, refrigerant usage logs, and parts ordered.
