In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing complex refrigeration and mechanical systems in commercial and industrial settings. Your expertise will ensure optimal performance of refrigeration equipment, HVAC systems, and related mechanical components, delivering exceptional service to our clients. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and contribute to the efficiency and safety of large-scale refrigeration operations. Duties Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial refrigeration systems. Diagnose electrical issues using multimeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools; troubleshoot electrical systems and controls. Read schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to accurately identify system components and wiring configurations. Conduct equipment troubleshooting to identify faults in refrigeration units, HVAC systems, plumbing connections, and mechanical components. Repair or replace mechanical parts such as compressors, fans, valves, motors, pumps, and thermostats to restore system functionality. Perform routine preventative maintenance on HVAC/R equipment to ensure reliability and compliance with safety standards. Communicate effectively with customers to explain repairs needed, provide maintenance advice, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. Experience Proven experience as a service technician specializing in commercial or industrial refrigeration systems. Construction experience or background working on large-scale mechanical installations is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of HVAC design principles, building automation systems, electrical diagnostics, plumbing, and mechanical systems repair. Familiarity with schematics, technical drawings, and system wiring diagrams essential for accurate troubleshooting. Hands-on experience with HVAC system installation, maintenance, and repair in diverse environments. Ability to use hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, voltmeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic equipment effectively. Prior experience working in field service roles with a focus on customer service is preferred; EPA certification is required for handling refrigerants.
