Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Commercial Kitchen Equipment Service Technician to join our team! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of commercial kitchen appliances and equipment. Your expertise will ensure our clients' kitchens operate smoothly, efficiently, and safely. Duties Perform troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance on commercial kitchen equipment including ovens, fryers, refrigerators, dishwashers, and prepping systems. Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and electrical diagrams to accurately diagnose issues. Conduct electrical, mechanical, refrigeration/equipment repairs with precision and safety. Assemble new equipment and install it on-site according to manufacturer specifications. Test repaired equipment to ensure optimal operation before returning it to service. Maintain detailed service records, including work performed, parts used, and time spent on each job. Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients about repairs and maintenance needs. Requirements Proven experience as a service technician in appliance repair or commercial kitchen equipment maintenance. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and technical diagrams. Hands-on experience with refrigeration systems, electrical wiring, and appliance assembly. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly. Ability to work independently in the field with minimal supervision while maintaining safety standards. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating a box truck is a plus.
