Job Description Altus is a full-service fire and life safety services platform. We offer a complete suite of solutions, from the design, engineering, installation, and servicing of state-of-the-art fire and life safety systems to training, consulting, crisis management and business continuity services. Ken-Mar, part of the Altus Fire & Life Safety family of companies, is looking for a Shop Technician to join our team! The Shop Technician is responsible for processing all work dropped off or assigned to the Ken-Mar shop for completion and return to our clients. This position supports several key areas of the business, including fire extinguishers, system cylinders, inert gas recharging, DOT hydrostatic testing, welding cylinders, and walk-in customer service. The Shop Technician is responsible for ensuring that all products are processed efficiently, safely, and accurately while maintaining a zero-defect mindset. The goal of this position is to complete work on time, meet established production targets, maintain quality standards, and ensure that every customer's product leaves the shop properly serviced and ready for use.
