Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Technician specializing in commercial kitchen repairs to join our energetic field service team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of commercial kitchen equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety. Your expertise will directly impact our clients' operations by delivering prompt, reliable service that keeps their kitchens running smoothly. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration knowledge in a fast-paced environment while providing exceptional customer service. Duties Perform troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance on commercial kitchen appliances including ovens, fryers, refrigerators, freezers, dishwashers, and HVAC systems. Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and electrical diagrams to accurately diagnose issues. Conduct mechanical repairs and assemble equipment components efficiently on-site. Utilize your refrigeration skills to repair and maintain cooling units critical to food safety standards. Operate box trucks or similar delivery vehicles safely to transport parts and equipment as needed. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring client satisfaction. Document all work performed meticulously in service reports and update maintenance logs regularly. Requirements Proven experience as a service technician or in appliance repair within a commercial kitchen environment. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and electrical diagrams confidently. Experience with refrigeration systems, HVAC units, and electrical troubleshooting. Prior delivery driver experience using box trucks or similar vehicles is preferred. Ability to perform assembly and equipment repair tasks efficiently under time constraints. Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude and clear communication abilities. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating large vehicles such as box trucks is advantageous. Basic understanding of safety protocols related to electrical work, refrigeration, and mechanical repairs.
