This role is for a technician who has spent a decade or more mastering supermarket and commercial refrigeration — not a generalist. We are recruiting outside our local market and will support relocation for the right candidate. What You'll Do Diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial refrigeration systems for grocery, convenience, and food service accounts, including parallel rack systems, walk-in coolers/freezers, open and closed display cases, and related controls. These are high-visibility accounts that can't afford downtime, so we need someone who can assess a problem quickly and solve it right the first time. What You Bring Minimum 10 years of hands-on
COMMERCIAL
refrigeration experience (not residential or light-commercial, and not general HVAC with occasional refrigeration exposure) Strong, demonstrable experience with supermarket refrigeration systems: parallel racks, case circuits, TXV/EEV diagnostics, condensing units, and multiplex controls (Hussmann, Copeland, Danfoss, Emerson E2/E3, or similar) Solid electrical and controls troubleshooting skills — not just component swapping EPA 608 Universal certification A professional track record with clients; you represent the company on-site, often with minimal supervision Please Note Before Applying This role includes rotating on-call responsibility and after-hours emergency dispatch when equipment failures put a client's product or operations at risk. It is not a fixed 8-5 position, and it's not the right fit if your household needs a strict, predictable daily schedule. Better to know that now than after a relocation. What We Offer Competitive pay commensurate with experience (senior-level compensation) Relocation assistance for qualified candidates Steady, high-quality commercial account base — no residential service calls A team that values technical depth and professionalism over rushed repairs To apply, submit your resume with a brief summary of your commercial refrigeration experience (system and account types) and certifications. This is a confidential search; company details will be shared directly with qualified candidates during the interview process.
