About the Role We are seeking a Refrigeration Install Technician to join our team. While prior experience in commercial refrigeration installation is our top preference. The Refrigeration Install Technician is responsible for performing start-ups on walk-in refrigeration units, diagnosing and resolving issues on newly installed equipment, and providing hands-on support to the Installation team. This role requires strong mechanical knowledge, sound diagnostic ability, and a commitment to quality workmanship. Duties and Responsibilities Perform start-ups on walk-in refrigeration units, including pressure testing, evacuation, and charging of systems. Support the Installation team by assisting with the installation of refrigeration systems, including running refrigerant, electrical, and plumbing lines. Diagnose and resolve issues arising on newly installed refrigeration units. Follow a logical order of operations when diagnosing start-up and post-installation issues.Required Qualifications Experience:
3 to 5 years of experience as a qualified refrigeration tradesperson (preferred)Licenses/Certifications:
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. EPA Universal Certification (preferred, but we will train the right mechanical candidate).Skills:
Ability to operate Non-CDL Commercial Motor Vehicles and pass a DOT Physical.Pay:
Up to $45.00 per hourBenefits:
