Commercial Refrigeration Service TechnicianJoin a Team That Has Been Keeping Businesses Running Since 1959 Allegheny Refrigeration Service Company is a family-owned commercial refrigeration contractor serving Western Pennsylvania, Northern West Virginia, and Eastern Ohio for more than 60 years. We specialize in the installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial refrigeration systems, walk-in coolers and freezers, ice machines, and select restaurant equipment. As our company continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced Commercial Refrigeration Service Technician who takes pride in quality workmanship, enjoys solving complex mechanical and electrical issues, and values providing exceptional service to customers. What You'll Do Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial refrigeration equipment. Service walk-in coolers, walk-in freezers, reach-in refrigerators, ice machines, and related refrigeration systems. Perform preventative maintenance and equipment inspections. Install refrigeration equipment and components as needed. Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration control systems. Communicate clearly with customers regarding equipment condition and recommended repairs. Complete service documentation accurately using mobile software. Maintain a clean, organized, and professional company vehicle. Follow all EPA, OSHA, and company safety procedures. What We're Looking For EPA Section 608 Certification (Type I & II minimum; Universal preferred) Valid Pennsylvania driver's license with a clean driving record Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills Excellent communication and customer service abilities Ability to work independently and manage a daily service schedule Professional appearance and positive attitude Ability to safely lift equipment and materials as required Preferred Qualifications Three or more years of commercial refrigeration service experience Experience servicing supermarket, restaurant, or food service refrigeration equipment Experience with refrigeration system installations Familiarity with digital service software and mobile work orders Universal EPA Certification Why Join Allegheny Refrigeration?
