• Job Summary
• We are seeking an experienced
• Supermarket Refrigeration Journeyman Technician
• to join our team in Nashville and Knoxville, Tennessee.

This role is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of commercial refrigeration and HVAC systems, with a strong focus on supermarket refrigeration equipment. The ideal candidate will have journeyman-level refrigeration experience, strong technical troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to safety and customer service.

• Essential Duties & Responsibilities
• + Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on rack and conventional type refrigeration and cooling equipment in accordance with the preventive maintenance program.

+ This includes installation and startup of refrigeration and cooling equipment. + Diagnose, repair, and perform scheduled Preventative Maintenance on existing refrigeration systems and equipment + Effectively communicate with customers regarding planned tasking, issues, or impacts + Advise the Refrigeration Service Manager of job progress and material/labor requirements + Order replacement parts as needed + Work with all electrical components from disconnect throughout equipment + Submit reports as required by supervisor + Timely response to emergency service calls during and outside of normal working hours + Accurately and thoroughly documents hours worked, tasking performed, materials used, and processes involved + Accomplish tasking working from Job Plans, verbal information, schematics, blueprints, wiring diagrams, documents, vendor/manufacturer manuals, and applicable specifications and codes. + Follow established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and create or revise SOPs as needed + Perform tasking outdoors in environmentally challenging conditions including wind and extreme cold weather + Proactively identify any unsafe conditions or hazards and communicate them effectively + Participate in Work Center Safety Program + Perform other duties as required

• Qualifications
• + Journeyman experience required in supermarket refrigeration mechanic work, including installation and maintenance of refrigeration equipment + Ability to diagnose, maintain, adjust, repair, and replace refrigeration systems and components + Possess prior computer experience and be able and willing to learn and effectively utilize computer-based technology + Possess the competencies, willingness and ability to perform the duties of position.

+ Candidate should be able to diagnose, maintain, adjust, repair, and replace HVAC systems. + Proficient in electrical safety procedures + Proficient in risk assessment and determination of PPE appropriate to specific tasking + Competent analyzing situations and making technical and safety decisions based on specifications and applicable codes and manufacturer guidelines + Solid decision-making ability and sound judgment to safely and effectively solve problems + Good organizational and planning skills

• Preferred:

• + Current HVAC/R license + Experience in commercial and/or industrial facilities \#debra \#LI-LV1 \#LI-Onsite
