Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Refrigeration Service Technician to join our team. As an Refrigeration Service Technician, you will be responsible for installing and troubleshooting various commercial refrigeration products and systems according to specifications and industry standards, i.e. Walk in coolers and freezers, Ice machines, reach ins This is a hands-on role that requires strong technical skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot, service and repair products and systems, such as walk in boxes, refrigeration systems remote and non remote, ice machines, reach in coolers/freezers Read and interpret installation instructions, blueprints, and technical drawings Measure and mark surfaces to ensure accurate installation Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to complete installations Test installed products or systems to ensure proper functioning Troubleshoot issues and make necessary repairs or adjustments Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with clients\

Requirements:
Minimum 4 years of experience in commercial refrigeration High school diploma or equivalent Universal EPA Experience in HVAC/R Proficiency in working with various brands of equipment, including ice machines, reach-in coolers/freezers, walk-in coolers, and freezers (e.g., Manitowoc, Hoshizaki, Scotsman, Kolpak, Heatcraft, Beverage air, True, etc.). Knowledge of modern refrigerants (404a, 448A, 449A, 134a, 410A, R-22, R290, etc.). Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose refrigeration units in a timely manner. Operating tools, manifold, and other testing equipment for refrigeration equipment. Reading and understanding wiring diagrams and blueprints. Experience dealing with customers and subcontractors
