About the Role We're hiring experienced Senior Chiller Technicians / Chiller Mechanics for a traveling Field Service team supporting mission-critical data center cooling systems. You'll work hands-on with commercial and industrial chillers, refrigeration systems, HVAC equipment, and controls , performing start-up, commissioning, troubleshooting, service, repair, and warranty work at customer sites. This is a travel-intensive position with steady overtime and strong earning potential for experienced chiller technicians who enjoy field work. Pay, Overtime & Travel $50-$60/hour + overtime $140K+ annual earning potential with consistent overtime and travel Typically ~60 hours/week while in the field + paid travel time Typical rotation: 2 weeks out / 1 week home or 3 weeks out / 1 week home , depending on project needs Company-paid flights, hotel and travel expenses Per diem / food allowance Keep your airline miles and hotel points Cell phone stipend Full benefits starting Day 1 Candidates may be based anywhere in the United States , preferably with convenient access to a major airport. What You'll Do Chiller Service & Repair:

Troubleshoot, diagnose, service and repair commercial/industrial chillers and refrigeration systems

Start-Up & Commissioning:

Perform mechanical, refrigeration, electrical and HVAC controls verification during equipment start-up and commissioning

Refrigeration Diagnostics:

Troubleshoot refrigerant circuits, compressors, expansion devices and related refrigeration components

Mechanical Systems:

Diagnose and service pumps, valves, heat exchangers and other chiller/cooling-system components

Electrical & Controls:

Troubleshoot electrical and controls-related issues affecting equipment operation and performance

Field Service:

Perform on-site service, warranty, repair and corrective work at customer facilities and data centers

System Optimization:

Identify performance issues and help ensure equipment operates safely, reliably and efficiently

Customer Support:

Represent XNRGY professionally while working directly with customers and project teams

Documentation:

Complete service reports, document issues and corrective actions, and support continuous improvement What You Bring 7+ years of commercial/industrial chiller, refrigeration, HVAC field service, commissioning, or related mechanical experience Strong hands-on experience as a Chiller Technician, Chiller Mechanic, HVAC Service Technician, or Refrigeration Technician Demonstrated experience troubleshooting, servicing and repairing commercial or industrial chillers Strong knowledge of refrigeration circuits, compressors, pumps, valves, heat exchangers and related chiller components Ability to troubleshoot mechanical, refrigeration, electrical and controls-related problems Experience with HVAC controls, BAS, BACnet, Modbus, PLCs or similar control platforms is highly preferred Start-up and commissioning experience is highly desirable Ability and willingness to travel extensively and work extended hours/overtime Strong communication, documentation and customer-facing skills Why XNRGY? $50-$60/hr + consistent overtime $140K+ earning potential Work directly on cooling infrastructure supporting AI and hyperscale data centers Gain experience with advanced chiller, HVAC controls and automation technologies High-impact field assignments throughout the United States Career growth with a rapidly expanding North American manufacturer Day 1 benefits About XNRGY Climate Systems XNRGY Climate Systems is a North American leader in the sustainable design and advanced manufacturing of custom air-treatment and cooling systems.
