Responsibilities Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair centrifugal chillers and large-tonnage HVAC equipment Perform preventive maintenance to maximize equipment performance and reliability Complete start-ups, commissioning, inspections, and operational testing Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, refrigeration, and controls-related issues Analyze system performance and recommend corrective actions Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical documentation Complete accurate digital service reports and documentation Communicate professionally with customers regarding equipment conditions and repair recommendations Maintain a strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship What We're Looking For Required Qualifications Minimum 5 years of commercial HVAC service experience Proven experience servicing centrifugal chillers or other large-tonnage commercial HVAC equipment Experience with manufacturers such as York, Trane, Carrier, Daikin , or similar platforms EPA 608 Universal Certification Texas TDLR License Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills Ability to work independently in the field Preferred Qualifications Experience with magnetic bearing, screw, or absorption chiller systems Building automation and controls experience Factory training certifications Experience servicing mission-critical facilities such as hospitals, data centers, or industrial plants About H&G Systems Since 1968, H&G Systems has delivered commercial and industrial HVAC solutions throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
