Full Job Description Scope of Work:
Repair and overhaul of industrial natural gas engines.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
Have a good understanding of gas engine tune-up Does component overhaul Does component repair Must do proper disassembly Must be able to perform small engine repair Be neat and organize work Must be able to perform cylinder head overhaul Proficient in the use of measurement and test equipment
Secondary Job Responsibilities:
Ensure that all jobs working on are completed and that the work was done in a proficient and safe manner. Make sure that the shop workspace utilized is cleaned after every job is finished. Must take advantage of any and all training that is offered by the company. Promote good welfare among the company and its' divisions. Perform other duties as assigned.
Working Conditions:
Typical hours of work Monday through Friday; 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Weekend hours as necessary. Outside work as required.
Minimum Qualifications:
Must have 2 year(s) previous experience. Must have GED, High School Diploma, trade school or special service training preferred.
Requirements:
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities (SKA's) Must have a working knowledge of the above titled position and how it relates to the overall business and its' objectives. Must meet goals and objectives set forth by the company. Must conform to policies and procedures set forth by the company. Must have a current driver's license and acceptable driving record per WPI insurance standards if driving company vehicle. (ONLY

) Must be able to pass and maintain drug and alcohol testing requirement as outlined by the Department of Transportation. (ONLY

) Must be able to bend and twist several times a day. Must be able to lift 50 pounds. (ONLY

) Must have the ability to work flexible hours and days. Must be dependable and work independently. Must maintain good client relations. Must maintain a professional appearance. Must promote and maintain a clean, neat and safe work environment. Must have the ability to travel and stay overnight. Must have the ability to effectively operate shop equipment Must be able to rebuild engine components Must be able to obtain required manufacture certifications Must be able to furnish all the necessary hand tools and pneumatic accessories that will be used in their day to day activities, along with a tool box for storing. Must protect the company assets and interest.
