Job Description CoolSys is seeking a Refrigeration Construction Supervisor to lead commercial and industrial HVAC-R projects across North America. In this field-based role, you will supervise crews, coordinate subcontractors, and manage day-to-day construction activities to deliver high-quality, energy-efficient refrigeration systems safely, on time, and on budget. You'll interpret plans and specs, ensure code and safety compliance, support startup and commissioning, and mentor technicians. Responsibilities Supervise commercial and industrial refrigeration construction projects from planning through commissioning Coordinate field crews, subcontractors, and materials to meet project timelines and budgets Interpret construction drawings, specs, and refrigeration system designs to ensure accurate installation Oversee quality, safety, and code compliance on active job sites Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and customers to resolve technical issues Conduct site inspections, testing, and startup for refrigeration and HVAC-R systems Train and mentor technicians and installers on construction standards and best practices Prepare and maintain project documentation, reports, and progress updates Ensure adherence to Cool Sys safety policies and industry regulations Support continuous improvement in construction processes and field performance Required Skills Commercial refrigeration installation Industrial refrigeration systems HVAC-R construction practices Blueprint and schematic reading Project and crew supervision Jobsite safety and OSHA compliance Brazing, piping, and refrigeration piping layout Startup, testing, and commissioning Problem solving and troubleshooting Customer and subcontractor coordination
