Position Summary As an Utilities Industrial Boiler - HVAC/R Technician , you will be responsible for servicing, troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance on ammonia refrigeration systems, HVAC, and utilities systems. You will also participate in our Process Safety Management program and be a vital member of the factory's Emergency Response and
HAZWOPER
teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, service, troubleshoot, and repair large HVAC/R equipment, including: Ammonia Refrigeration Drive-in coolers/freezers Process Glycol chillers and boilers Steam boilers and chemistry control Water Systems (Reverse Osmosis, softeners, filters) Glyco heat exchange Compressed Air Systems Hydraulics Systems Make Air Units Maintain equipment logs and reports using computerized maintenance systems.
Basic Qualifications:
High School diploma/GED preferred. Minimum of 1 year of manufacturing experience preferred. Experience or education in HVAC/R or a related field preferred.
RETA-CARO
certification preferred (Company support for certification will be provided). Must be able to work in varying environmental conditions. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and work from heights. Strong time management, communication, and teamwork skills. Basic computer skills.

Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operation and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Strong writing skills for routine reports and correspondence. Effective communication skills for group presentations. Commitment to adhering to plant rules/policies, including safety and GMP regulations. Willingness to perform additional duties as assigned.
