Lawn Care & Pest Control Technician Guardian South Lawn & Pest Control | Huntsville, AL Starting pay: $45,000-$55,000 per year, based on experience and licensing Guardian South is looking for a motivated technician to help care for residential and commercial properties, including a site at Redstone Arsenal. We're open to an experienced technician or someone with a strong work ethic who is ready to learn. Current pest control or lawn care licenses are a plus. Our services include aeration, overseeding, fertilization, pre-emergent and herbicide applications, pest control, and mosquito treatments. What you'll do Perform lawn care and pest control services according to the treatment plan and product labels. Inspect properties, identify problems, and explain treatment recommendations to customers. Apply products accurately and safely, maintain equipment, and document completed work. Communicate clearly with customers and the office about service results and follow-up needs. Learn new treatment methods and work toward applicable licenses or certifications. What we're looking for A dependable person who takes pride in doing thorough work and showing up on time. Strong attention to detail, especially when mixing and applying products and keeping service records. The ability to work independently, solve problems in the field, and treat customers professionally. A willingness to learn and improve. Knowledge of turf care, weeds, insects, and treatment methods is a plus. The ability to work outdoors in varying weather and perform the physical duties of the role. A valid driver's license and the ability to meet applicable driving requirements. The ability to pass a background check and meet access requirements for Redstone Arsenal.
