Role:
We're hiring a Forklift Service Technician with solid mechanical experience—especially with forklifts, aerial lifts, pallet jacks, and diesel or electric-powered equipment. If you're after consistent, hands-on work where your knowledge and experience matter and you have a desire to grow your career, we want to hear from you! You will handle repairs to well-known material handling brands, solve deep mechanical problems, and work with a reliable team that is proud of their work and the relationships they build with each other and with customers.What You'll Do:
Diagnose and repair forklifts (electric, gas, diesel, propane) and aerial lifts like boom lifts, scissor lifts, and telehandlers Work with leading brands like Hyundai, Bobcat, Clark, Genie, JLG, and Skyjack (depending on branch availability) Handle mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic system repairs Stay current with OEM updates, service bulletins, and equipment upgrades Recommend planned maintenance and safety programs to reduce customer downtime Mentor junior technicians and help create a team-first environment Keep your tools, workspace, and service vehicle organized and stocked Load and unload equipment when needed Always prioritize safety by using PPE and following company protocolsSkills & Experience We're Looking For:
Proven experience working on forklifts, aerial lifts, or other heavy equipment (engines, hydraulics, electrical systems) Familiarity with leading brands like Hyundai, Bobcat, Clark, Genie, JLG, and Skyjack Experience reading technical manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams Skilled with diagnostic tools, software, and repair equipment like multimeters and pressure gauges Great communication and customer service skills Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and perform hands-on work Degree or certification in Diesel Technology or similar (preferred) Experience with battery-powered equipment and charging systems is a bonus!Benefits:
