Job Summary HireWorks is seeking dependable Mechanical Assembly Technicians to join a growing industrial manufacturing team. This position involves assembling, repairing, maintaining, and inspecting mechanical equipment and components while following detailed work instructions and quality standards. The ideal candidate enjoys hands-on work, has strong mechanical abilities, and takes pride in producing quality work in a safe environment. Responsibilities Assemble, disassemble, and repair mechanical equipment and components. Perform preventative maintenance, installations, and equipment upgrades. Inspect, troubleshoot, and replace mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical components as needed. Assist with surface preparation, grinding, sanding, and industrial painting projects. Perform routine maintenance on industrial gearboxes and other mechanical equipment. Move materials throughout the facility using forklifts, pallet jacks, and overhead cranes. Package completed products for shipment while ensuring quality standards are met. Read and follow work instructions, engineering drawings, and customer specifications. Complete production records and required documentation accurately. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while following OSHA regulations and proper PPE requirements. Ensure tools and equipment are maintained and available for daily operations. Work overtime as needed to meet production schedules. Perform other duties as assigned by management. Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Ability to read and understand work instructions and production documents. Basic math skills and the ability to accurately read a tape measure. Comfortable using computers for basic data entry and production tracking. Experience using hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment. Ability to lift, bend, squat, climb, crawl, and stand for extended periods. Must be able to work in varying indoor and outdoor environmental conditions. Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record. Willingness to travel occasionally to customer job sites if needed. Must successfully pass a background check, drug screen, and vision test. Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
