Job Description

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and customer-oriented Service Technician to join our team. This role involves maintaining and repairing gas station equipment, ensuring safety standards, and providing top-notch service to our customers. The ideal candidate will be technically adept, safety-conscious, and capable of troubleshooting various gas station systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspect, maintain, and repair gas station equipment, including fuel pumps, dispensers, air compressors, and POS (point-of-sale) systems. Diagnose and troubleshoot issues in a timely and efficient manner to minimize equipment downtime. Perform preventive maintenance and safety inspections on fueling systems and other station equipment. Maintain a clean, organized work area and ensure adherence to safety guidelines and regulations. Document maintenance activities and repairs, ensuring records are up-to-date and accurate. Respond to emergency repair requests, sometimes requiring on-call availability. Collaborate with store managers and team members to ensure smooth station operations. Provide excellent customer service and assist customers with inquiries as needed.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; Previous experience in a similar role or in equipment repair/maintenance (gas station or industrial equipment experience is a plus). Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and/or hydraulic systems. Familiarity with safety protocols and regulations related to gas station operations. Ability to lift heavy equipment, stand for extended periods, and work outdoors in various weather conditions. Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Skills:
Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Good communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team. Proficiency with hand tools and diagnostic equipment.
Job Type:

$15.00 - $20.00 per hour
