Job Description

BSN Security is looking for an experienced Service Technician / Installer to join our growing team. We're looking for someone who enjoys hands-on work, troubleshooting, and working with security technology. This position involves traveling to customer locations to install, service, repair, and maintain security systems.

Customer locations / Field-based About BSN Security BSN Security provides security, access control, camera, and gate solutions to residential communities and businesses. We are looking for a dependable technician who takes pride in quality work and providing excellent customer service. Responsibilities Install, service, and troubleshoot security cameras, access control, alarms, and gate operators Work with CCTV systems, including IP and analog cameras Troubleshoot low-voltage wiring, cabling, network connections, and equipment Complete service calls and installations at customer locations Diagnose issues and provide reliable, long-term solutions Provide professional customer service and system training when needed Complete accurate service reports and documentation Maintain tools, equipment, and inventory Work independently while communicating with the office and other technicians Stay up to date with new security products, software, and technology Follow all company safety and quality standards
Qualifications Required:
CCTV / surveillance experience required Access control experience required. DoorKing, PDK, or similar Security/alarm system experience required Low-voltage wiring and cabling experience required Ability to use hand tools, testing meters, and diagnostic software Good communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently High school diploma or equivalent required Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to lift to 50 lbs. and work on ladders and outdoors as needed
Preferred:
Industry certifications such as PDK, Hanwha, or DoorKing are a plus Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Gate operator experience preferred Network/IT experience is a plus Schedule Hours vary based on service calls and installation projects Flexible scheduling based on customer needs Pay Starting at $30.00 per hour Benefits Flexible schedule Fuel card Company-provided vehicle Company-provided tools On-the-job training Opportunity for growth
