• 35 per hour, based on experience Accuracy Starts With You At Legendary Windows and Doors, a successful installation begins long before our crew arrives at the customer's home.

It begins with an accurate final measure, a complete understanding of the project, and someone willing to own every detail. We are looking for an experienced Field Measure Technician who understands residential replacement windows, patio doors, and entry doors and knows that "close enough" is never good enough. This is not an entry-level measuring position. We need someone with strong field experience, excellent technical judgment, and the ability to identify potential installation challenges before products are ordered. What You'll Do Visit customers' homes throughout Orange County and surrounding areas to complete final measurements Accurately measure replacement windows, patio doors, French doors, and entry doors Verify that the products, configurations, colors, glass packages, hardware, and installation details match the contract Evaluate existing conditions, including framing, stucco, siding, trim, access, electrical, plumbing, flooring, and potential structural concerns Determine appropriate installation methods and required materials Identify egress, tempered-glass, and other code-related considerations Take clear photographs and document every relevant jobsite condition Review the project with the homeowner and clarify expectations without making unauthorized promises or changes Immediately communicate discrepancies, additional work, or potential change-order requirements Submit complete measurement documents, photographs, and field notes on time Collaborate closely with Sales, Production, Purchasing, and Installation Help ensure every project is ready to order correctly and install successfully the first time What Success Looks Like Measurements are accurate and complete Orders are released without preventable delays Installers arrive prepared for the actual jobsite conditions Mis-measures and avoidable reorder costs remain exceptionally low Potential problems are identified before they become expensive problems Customers receive clear, professional communication Documentation is complete, timely, and easy for the entire team to understand You take ownership from the moment you enter the home until the project is successfully handed off What We're Looking For At least 3 years of experience measuring or installing residential replacement windows and doors Strong knowledge of retrofit and new-construction applications Experience with vinyl windows, patio doors, French doors, and entry-door systems Ability to read contracts, product specifications, diagrams, and work orders Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail Strong problem-solving and jobsite evaluation skills Comfortable using mobile technology to submit measurements, notes, and photographs Professional appearance and strong homeowner communication skills Ability to work independently while maintaining consistent communication with the team Valid California driver's license and acceptable driving record Ability to safely use ladders and lift up to 50 pounds Window and door installation experience is strongly preferred Why Legendary?
