As a UTV technician, your primary responsibilities entail maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing UTV's. Knowledge of various systems of UTVs, including structural components, inspecting for UTV frame damage, UTV suspension components, UTV body damage and maintaining our fleet of UTV's to a safe operational order. Due to our contract with Can-Am, all UTV's must be kept in factory specs. The appearance of each UTV will also be kept in an as-new-from-factory condition. Duties and Responsibilities of a UTV service technician typically include:

Providing Customer Service:

UTV service technicians interact with our UTV rental customers. Good communication and customer service skills are essential in this role.

Diagnosing and Repairing Mechanical Issues:

UTV service technicians inspects UTV's to identify and diagnose mechanical and cosmetic problems, such as engine issues, transmission malfunctions, brakes, and other system failures. They use diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot problems and perform necessary repairs to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the UTV.

Performing Preventive Maintenance:

UTV technicians conduct routine maintenance tasks to keep UTVs in optimal condition. This includes tasks such as oil changes, fluid checks and replacements, tire inspections and rotations, and overall system inspections. Preventive maintenance helps prevent potential issues and extends the lifespan of the UTV.

Keeping Records and Documentation:

UTV service technicians provide the General Manager with detailed information of repairs, parts replaced, maintenance, and service so that the General Manager can document service and repair history. Accurate documentation helps track the UTV / RV's maintenance and repair history, assists in warranty claims, and provides valuable information for future servicing and liability.
