Mutual Propane is looking for an experienced Service Technician with a minimum Class-B CDL license with all endorsements. The position is based at our plant in Gardena California. Relocation to one of our other plants is a possibility.

Responsibilities:

Install, maintain, and troubleshoot propane dispensing systems in the field Operate crane Truck for tank installations Perform repairs on propane equipment Refurbish propane tanks and equipment to prepare for new installations Delivery and pick up of cylinders from various locations Drive propane bobtail to deliver propane as needed Adhere to company safety policies at all times Maintain excellent working relations with customers, vendors, and employees Mutual Propane is willing to train the right candidate in the completion of the tasks listed above.

Requirements:

1 - 3 years commercial driving experience 3 Year current DMV printout - No DUI's, reckless driving violations, or more then 2 points in 60 months on your DMV printout Current Class-B California driver's license or better with Haz-Mat, tanker and Air brake endorsements Must pass physical exam and drug/alcohol screen Ability to lift 80 lbs. Ability to work with service related tools Willingness to work after hours and weekends on a rotating on-call schedule Ability to apply basic math skills Ability to communicate well with customers and fellow employees Neat appearance and professional demeanor Ability to operate a propane bobtail safely - Complete Pre-trip and Post-trip inspections on truck Ability to work under time constraints & deadlines Dependable and work well with minimal supervision Ability to speak, read, and write English fluently High school diploma/GED required. Experience with propane dispensing systems helpful but not required. Willingness to participate in in-house training and safety meetings.
