Overview Now hiring Full time and Part time positions - Buyer, Second Hand Computers and Electronics in this upcoming Rocklin, CA franchise location. Description We're seeking a Second Hand Electronics Buyer to work in our upcoming Rocklin, CA location. Buyers play a critical role in PayMore's operation by evaluating negotiating and purchasing used electronics. They ensure that PayMore acquires quality inventory at profitable margins while delivering exceptional customer experience. If you're friendly and approachable, take pride in providing great customer experiences, have solid consumer electronics knowledge and strong negotiation skills, we would like you to read on and apply below. Responsibilities Greet and assist customers who bring in devices to sell, trade or recycle Inspect and test electronics including phones laptops game consoles and other tech devices Accurately assess device condition and market value Negotiate purchasing offers with customers while maintaining a professional demeanor Maintain detailed records of purchased items and transactions Stay updated on current market trends and electronics resale values Assist in organizing and storing newly purchased inventory Collaborate with the listing and sales team to ensure smooth transition of inventory to the sales floor or online eCommerce platforms Deliver excellent customer service that aligns with PayMore's reputation for honesty and fair deals Requirements Must have excellent electronics knowledge and experience handling smartphones, tablets, laptops, and game systems - e.g. data wiping smartphones, removing iCloud accounts, testing game systems, Windows use, MacOS use and more Must be familiar with popular secondhand online marketplaces and able to quickly reference completed listings prices Must be comfortable building relationships with a wide range of customers, staying focused and adapting quickly from situation to situation Must be able to type quickly and accurately. Accuracy is paramount as you will be entering in final records of purchase - a typing test will be required Must be able to follow store protocols and procedures Must be at least 18 years of age or older Punctual, upbeat, "get it done" attitude, team player with a professional appearance English proficiency required; Spanish speaking a plus Previous retail or sales experience helpful but not required Must be able to remain on your feet for hours at a time, possibly 8+ hours Ability to lift 25lb items
Pay:
$17.00 - $23.00 per hour Expected hours: 16.0 - 40.0 per week
