Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics on vintage motorcycles and scooters using specialized diagnostic tools and electrical testing equipment. Repair and overhaul mechanical systems including engines, suspensions, brakes, electrical wiring, and suspension components. Conduct routine vehicle maintenance such as oil changes, tire replacements, brake adjustments, and assembly of parts. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, soldering irons, and other mechanical tools to execute repairs efficiently. Troubleshoot basic vehicle issues through systematic inspection and testing to identify root causes quickly. Assist with all-terrain vehicle repairs and powersports engine servicing to ensure versatility across different vehicle types. Maintain detailed service records, update repair logs, and communicate clearly with customers about repair status and recommendations. Skills Proven dealership experience or extensive service technician background in automotive or powersports repair. Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive engine systems, electrical diagnostics, and motorcycle operation. Skilled in the use of diagnostic tools for automotive diagnostics and electrical troubleshooting. Hands-on experience with motorcycle repair, including basic troubleshooting, assembly, brake repair, suspension work, and heavy lifting. Proficiency with welding, soldering, and mechanical systems repair techniques. Familiarity with automotive repair standards, safety procedures, and quality control processes. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to clients. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple repairs efficiently.
