We are seeking a skilled Service Technician specializing in electromechanical and vacuum systems to install, maintain and repair complex equipment used in industrial and research applications. The ideal candidate will diagnose mechanical, electrical and vacuum-related issues, perform field and shop service, and provide clear documentation and customer support to ensure reliable system operation and uptime. Key Responsibilities Diagnose, test, repair, and maintain electromechanical equipment
Perform equipment calibration, installation, assembly, and modifications
Troubleshoot issues and conduct root cause analysis
Complete service documentation and reports
Provide occasional customer support and technical assistance
Assist with shipping, logistics, and inventory-related tasks
Work independently and collaboratively within a team environment Qualifications High school diploma or GED required; technical degree or related training preferred
3+ years of experience servicing electromechanical, vacuum, industrial, or similar equipment preferred
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
Experience using hand tools, precision measuring devices, and test equipment
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to manage priorities and work with minimal supervision
Able to lift up to 50 pounds
Must be able to pass a background check
