Our service teams are the heart of what we do, and we're looking for a Service Technician to help maintain the quality, appearance, and performance of Boulder Creek Apartments in Boulder, Colorado. About Boulder Creek Apartments Nestled at the edge of the Flatirons, Boulder Creek Apartments is a 221-unit apartment community offering a unique blend of modern living and outdoor access. With world-class hiking and climbing nearby and convenient access to Central Boulder, residents enjoy the best of both nature and city life. Your Opportunity as a Service Technician As a Service Technician, you'll play an essential role in delivering an exceptional resident experience by ensuring apartment homes, common areas, and community systems are maintained to high standards. You'll work closely with onsite leadership and service teams to complete maintenance requests, preventative maintenance activities, apartment turns, and property upkeep. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional who takes pride in quality workmanship, enjoys solving problems, and is committed to providing outstanding customer service in a dynamic residential environment. What You'll Do Complete resident service requests in a timely, professional, and customer-focused manner. Perform preventative maintenance on building systems, equipment, and community amenities. Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance, and general maintenance issues. Assist with apartment turns, including preparing vacant homes for new residents. Conduct routine property inspections and identify maintenance concerns. Maintain the cleanliness, safety, and appearance of common areas, grounds, and amenity spaces. Maintain accurate records of completed work orders and maintenance activities. Follow all company safety procedures and regulatory requirements. Participate in an on-call rotation and respond to after-hours maintenance emergencies as required. What You'll Bring (Required Experience & Skills) 3+ years of experience in apartment maintenance, facilities maintenance, building operations, hospitality maintenance, or a related field. Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, and general maintenance practices. Ability to diagnose and resolve maintenance issues independently. Strong customer service and communication skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities throughout the day. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including participation in an on-call rotation. EPA certification is preferred. Experience with property management or work-order software is a plus.
