Larson Company is the Midwest, Plains, and Mountain States leading wholesale distributor of Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration (HVACR) equipment, parts, and supplies. Our business philosophy is to focus on serving the needs of our customers, with a value-added, professional, and enthusiastic attitude. We are looking for a motivated, customer service oriented Service Advisor to assist our dealers and customers on a daily basis. They establish direct relationships with them by being in one of our branch locations daily, assisting as needed. We provide service advice, support, and training for the products we sell across the country, but will be focused in the following states: Idaho, Utah, Wyoming, Colorado, and New Mexico. Those products include, but are not limited to Trane and Mitsubishi, while Emerson, Heatcraft, Magic-Pak, Hydronic products knowledge is also preferred. The Service Advisor has a significant amount of customer interaction, and the role will, therefore, demand a high level of customer service. Additionally, the ideal candidate will possess both technical and business expertise in order to excel in this role. Primary Responsibilities Perform Service advice and guidance on phone and or in person if necessary. Help control warranty costs. Training Assist with developing and presenting product application, installation, and service programs. Support Sales Consultants and Store Managers with individual dealer training. Play an active role in the construction of educational newsletters, memos, etc. Help manage service and parts operations at our branch levels. Perform equipment inspections, local, and remote locations. Perform other related duties as assigned. Effectively handle multiple priorities, organize workload, and meet deadlines. Methods, techniques, parts, tools, and materials used in the maintenance and repair, including testing, diagnosis, HVAC and Refrigeration service. HVACR equipment and servicing methods. Must be able to read and explain detailed wiring and piping diagrams. Dealer Business Process and Best Practice. Skilled the use of computers, MS Office, Manufactures intranet systems, etc. Must use appropriate telephone etiquette. Must be able to stand in front of an assembly and educate. Education Degree or Certificate in HVACR or equivalent experience preferred. Service Advisor experience preferred. NATE Certification to repair furnaces, A/C systems desired.
