Job Description

Woodstove Warehouse is seeking a motivated, dependable Service Technician to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop a career in the hearth industry. We are willing to train the right candidate and provide hands-on instruction in fireplace and stove installation, service, and maintenance. Candidates with general construction, carpentry, remodeling, or other hands-on trade experience are strongly encouraged to apply. Responsibilities Assist with the installation of stoves, fireplaces, and related products according to company standards and safety guidelines Learn to troubleshoot, service, and maintain heating appliances Use hand and power tools safely and effectively Read and follow installation instructions, diagrams, and technical manuals Drive company vehicles to installation and service locations Maintain a clean and organized work environment Provide professional and courteous customer service while working in customers' homes Assist senior technicians with installations and repairs as needed Qualifications General construction, carpentry, remodeling, or other hands-on experience preferred Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new skills Ability to safely use hand and power tools Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail Ability to lift and move heavy materials and work in a physically active environment Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in varying conditions Valid driver's license required Ability to work well independently and as part of a team What We Offer Paid, on-the-job training Opportunity for advancement and skill development Competitive pay based on experience and performance Paid time off
