00 per hour Position Overview Cloud 9 Integrated Systems is seeking an experienced Service Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain audio/video, networking, control, lighting, and related technology systems in high-end residential environments. This position requires strong technical troubleshooting skills, excellent customer service, punctuality, flexibility, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. The ideal candidate can communicate clearly with clients, work through problems systematically, and take ownership of service issues through resolution. Responsibilities Troubleshoot and service residential networks, audio/video systems, control systems, lighting control, and other connected technologies. Diagnose hardware, software, wiring, programming, configuration, and network-related problems. Service systems using Crestron, Savant, Lutron, Sonos, Ubiquiti, and similar platforms. Communicate professionally with clients and explain technical issues in clear, understandable language. Document service findings, work performed, recommended repairs, and items requiring follow-up. Coordinate with project managers, programmers, technicians, manufacturers, and other team members to resolve issues. Arrive prepared and on time for scheduled appointments and communicate promptly when conditions affect the schedule. Adapt to changing priorities, urgent service requests, and assignments at different project locations. Maintain an organized company vehicle, tools, parts, and service materials. Protect clients' homes and maintain clean, professional work areas. Identify opportunities for system improvements, upgrades, and replacement of unreliable or obsolete equipment. Follow company procedures and represent Cloud 9 with professionalism, discretion, and respect. Qualifications Minimum of two years of experience in networking, audio/video, automation, technology integration, or a related technical role. Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot networks, AV systems, and integrated control systems. Working knowledge of Crestron, Savant, and Lutron systems. Familiarity with Sonos, Ubiquiti, and other residential technology platforms is preferred. Understanding of IP networking, Wi-Fi, structured wiring, signal flow, equipment racks, distributed audio/video, and system integration. Strong customer-service and interpersonal communication skills. Dependable, punctual, organized, and able to follow through on assigned work. Flexible and willing to assist wherever needed

  • to support clients and the team. Ability to work independently while also communicating and collaborating effectively with others. Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record. Compensation and Benefits The pay range for this position is $28.00
