Role Description The Technician role at Miller Motorcars is a full-time, on-site position located in Stamford, CT. This role is responsible for performing diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on luxury and exotic vehicles according to manufacturer specifications and dealership standards. Daily tasks include conducting vehicle inspections, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, completing scheduled services, and documenting work in repair orders. The Technician will collaborate with service advisors, parts personnel, and other team members to ensure timely, high-quality service and a superior customer experience. The role also involves maintaining a clean and safe workspace, using specialized tools and equipment, and staying current with training and manufacturer updates.

Qualifications Technical automotive skills:

ability to perform diagnostics, mechanical and electrical repairs, and routine maintenance on a variety of vehicles.

Tool and equipment proficiency:

skilled in using specialized automotive tools, diagnostic systems, and service equipment safely and accurately.

Attention to detail and quality:

strong focus on precise workmanship, thorough inspections, and accurate documentation of all service activities.

Communication and teamwork:

ability to work collaboratively with service advisors and colleagues, and communicate clearly with team members and leadership.

Problem-solving and adaptability:

capable of troubleshooting complex issues and adapting to evolving technologies and manufacturer standards.

Relevant experience:

prior experience as an automotive technician or mechanic; luxury or exotic vehicle experience is highly beneficial.

Education and credentials:

completion of an automotive technology program or equivalent experience; ASE certifications or manufacturer training are a plus.

Professional standards:

valid driver's license with a clean driving record, commitment to safety protocols, reliability, and punctuality.
