Job Summary Elevated Facility Services is seeking a skilled safety-focused and customer service focused Service Technician to perform maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and testing of elevators, lifts, and related vertical transportation equipment. This role requires strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, the ability to diagnose complex issues, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service while maintaining compliance with all safety standards and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities and Duties
- Perform complex maintenance, servicing, repair, and troubleshooting of elevators, dumbwaiters, wheelchair lifts, and related equipment.
- Investigate electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic malfunctions and determine appropriate corrective actions.
- Diagnose equipment issues and complete repairs to restore safe and reliable operation.
- Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance inspections to ensure equipment performance and code compliance.
- Perform annual safety testing of elevator systems and safety devices.
- Inspect and evaluate equipment condition and recommend repairs, upgrades, or modernization opportunities.
- Assist in determining the suitability of existing equipment, proposed modifications, and new installations.
- Complete service documentation, inspection reports, and maintenance records accurately and timely.
- Maintain compliance with OSHA regulations, company safety policies, and industry standards.
- Respond to emergency service calls and participate in an on-call rotation as required.
- Communicate professionally with customers, building owners, and internal team members regarding service activities and equipment status.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
