Overview Join our dynamic team as a Phone Repair Technician, where you'll be at the forefront of restoring mobile devices and consumer electronics to optimal performance! This energetic role offers the chance to work with a wide range of smartphones, tablets, laptops, and other electronic gadgets. Your technical expertise will help customers get back to connecting, creating, and enjoying their digital lives seamlessly. This paid position provides valuable hands-on experience in electronics repair and technical support. Duties Diagnose hardware and software issues on various mobile devices including Android and iOS smartphones, tablets, and laptops running macOS or Windows operating systems Perform repairs on smartphones, tablets, laptops, printers, copiers, and other consumer electronics using hand tools and soldering techniques Conduct hardware diagnostics to identify faulty components such as screens, batteries, charging ports, or internal circuits Execute repairs involving electrical soldering, component replacement, and hardware maintenance to ensure device longevity Provide technical troubleshooting support for operating systems and mobile device issues, including software updates and system resets Deliver excellent customer service by explaining repair processes clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service experience Maintain detailed records of repairs performed, parts used, and diagnostic findings for each device serviced Skills Proficiency in repairing a wide range of consumer electronics including smartphones (troubleshooting support), tablets, laptops (including desktop computer repair), printers, copiers, and other mobile devices Strong understanding of operating systems such as Android, iOS, macOS, and Windows along with IT support fundamentals Skilled in hardware diagnostics, analysis skills for troubleshooting complex issues efficiently Experience with hardware maintenance tasks like replacing screens, batteries, charging ports; electrical soldering; using hand tools effectively Knowledge of computer hardware components and software troubleshooting techniques for desktop computers and laptops Ability to perform mobile device repairs with precision while adhering to safety standards for electrical soldering and equipment repair Excellent communication skills coupled with a customer-focused approach to deliver technical support with clarity and professionalism Familiarity with printer and copier repair processes is a plus but not required Embark on a rewarding career where your technical skills make a real difference!
