Responsibilities Diagnose and repair desktop and laptop computers. Repair Windows PCs and Apple/Mac computers. Diagnose and repair cell phones and tablets. Replace screens, batteries, charging ports, and other components. Troubleshoot hardware and software issues. Diagnose electronic boards and components. Perform soldering and electronic repairs. Use multimeters, bench power supplies, soldering stations, hot-air stations, and other diagnostic equipment. Identify defective components such as MOSFETs, capacitors, integrated circuits, diodes, connectors, and other board-level components. Perform preventive maintenance and cleaning of electronic equipment. Greet customers and discuss issues with their equipment. Clearly explain diagnoses, repair options, pricing, and recommendations to customers. Provide professional customer service in both English and Spanish. Answer customer questions in person and over the phone. Keep customers updated on the status of their repairs. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Requirements Must speak English and Spanish fluently. Previous experience repairing computers and electronic equipment. Experience repairing cell phones and tablets. Knowledge of electronics and electronic components. Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills. Soldering experience is required; microsoldering experience is preferred. Experience using multimeters, bench power supplies, soldering stations, and hot-air equipment. Ability to independently diagnose problems rather than simply replacing parts. Comfortable working directly with customers. Professional appearance and strong communication skills. Strong customer service skills. Responsible, punctual, organized, and dependable. Ability to clearly explain technical issues to non-technical customers. Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Preferred Experience Experience with:

Motherboard and logic board repair. Microsoldering. Charging port replacement. Data recovery. MacBook repairs. Gaming consoles. Audio and video equipment. Component-level electronic troubleshooting. Software installation and operating system troubleshooting.
