Job Purpose The Marine Electronics Repair Technician is responsible for organizing, bench testing, and repairing marine electronic inventory items purchased for resale. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Test and repair marine electronic parts and components on a workbench. Write accurate and grammatically correct listings for marine electronics and other items. Specialize in a specific brand or product line when needed. Sort and organize incoming inventory quickly. Clean, repair, and photograph products before listing them for sale. Go to trade shows, flea markets, liquidations, and product buyouts. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma preferred. Equipment repair experience required. Electronics repair or installation experience required. Working conditions Outdoor work may be required. May be required to work outside of normal working hours as needed. May be required to use manlift 25' off the ground. Hours are 8:30a-5:30p Physical requirements: Standing, sitting, walking, repetitive movement, lifting of objects up to 70 pounds.
