Position Summary As a Depot Repair Technician, you will work in a factory environment with other technicians to enable high-quality, cost efficient repair and refurbishment of depot serviced point of sale equipment, PCs and peripheral devices. The desired candidate will be primarily responsible for ensuring their team produces a high quality output while meeting production demand each day. They will act as the primary point of contact for all repair technician escalations and work to remove roadblocks during the repair process. They will foster a team first environment and help champion employee growth and development. They will seek out and execute continuous improvement related activities. Key Areas of Responsibility
  • Follow standard work instructions and standard operating procedures accurately
  • Inspect your work to ensure the highest level of workmanship quality
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision
  • Replacing defective computer components and testing equipment
  • Other job related duties as assigned Basic Qualifications
  • Ability to operate tools like a screwdriver
  • Able to lift 20lbs. frequently and up to 50 lbs. on occasion.
  • Able to work standing or walking for 8-10 hour shift (breaks every 2-4 hours).
  • Ability work a schedule of 7am to 3:30pm Monday through Friday. Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience working on computers and electronic assemblies
