Job Description
Seasonal Equipment Delivery Driver / Service Technician $22/hour + Overtime | Full-Time Seasonal | No CDL Required We are looking for dependable, hands-on employees to join our team during our busy season. This position involves delivering, setting up, servicing, and retrieving mobile equipment at customer locations throughout Georgia and surrounding areas. This is a full-time seasonal position with substantial hours available during our busiest months. This is not a long-haul trucking job, and no CDL is required. You'll drive company pickup trucks, tow equipment trailers, travel to different customer locations, and spend much of your day working independently. What You'll Do Drive company pickup trucks and safely tow equipment trailers Deliver and retrieve equipment at customer locations Back and maneuver trailers safely into job sites Set up equipment for customer use Perform routine cleaning and service of equipment Troubleshoot minor equipment issues in the field Communicate professionally with customers Keep company trucks, trailers, tools, and equipment clean and organized Complete basic delivery and service documentation Perform other related duties associated with equipment delivery and service Minimum Requirements Valid driver's license Perfect driving record required Comfortable driving a full-size pickup truck Willing and able to learn to safely tow and back equipment trailers Mechanically inclined and comfortable using basic tools Able to perform physical work and work outdoors in varying weather conditions Dependable and able to report to work as scheduled Able to communicate professionally with customers Able to follow instructions and established procedures Able to work independently without constant supervision Willing to take responsibility for company trucks, tools, trailers, and equipment No CDL required. Previous experience in our industry is not required. We will train the right person. Experience with trailers, equipment rental, construction, landscaping, maintenance, delivery, route service, towing, farming, military equipment, or other hands-on work is helpful but not required. Pay & Schedule Starting pay: $22.00 per hour Overtime paid as applicable Full-time seasonal employment Hours and schedules vary according to customer demand Overtime opportunities may be available during busy periods Some early mornings, evenings, weekends, and longer days may be required depending on customer schedules Local and regional driving may be required What Makes This Job Different This isn't a warehouse or assembly-line position where you do the same thing in the same place every day. You'll travel to different customer locations, operate trucks and equipment, solve problems, and spend much of your day working independently.
