Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and skilled Mobile Service Technician to join our team! In this role, you will perform on-site repairs and maintenance for a variety of trucks and heavy equipment, ensuring they operate safely and efficiently. Your expertise will help keep our clients' fleets moving smoothly, providing exceptional service with a focus on mechanical systems, diagnostics, and repairs. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where your skills make a real impact. Responsibilities Conduct on-site repairs and maintenance on trucks and heavy equipment, including diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension systems, and electrical components Diagnose mechanical issues using automotive diagnostics tools and schematics to identify root causes quickly Perform essential services such as oil changes, tire service, wheel alignments, shocks & struts replacement, and welding repairs Repair automotive electrical systems and ensure proper functioning of ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) and other electronic components Utilize hand tools and power tools safely to complete mechanical repairs efficiently Maintain detailed service records, complete auto estimating for repairs, and ensure all work meets safety standards Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair needs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction Experience Proven dealership experience or extensive background working in the mechanical repair industry with heavy-duty vehicles Strong knowledge of mechanical systems including powertrain, transmission repair, suspension systems, brake repair, and diesel engine repair Familiarity with automotive schematics, electrical systems, ADAS technology, air brake systems, and oil change procedures Hands-on experience with automotive diagnostics tools and auto estimating software is preferred Ability to work independently in the field while maintaining high-quality workmanship Mechanical knowledge of GM vehicles or similar brands is advantageous Prior experience working with transmissions, wheel alignment equipment, welding tools, and vehicle maintenance procedures Join us to be part of a team that values technical expertise, customer satisfaction, and safety!
