Part-Time Service Technician Innovative Refrigeration Systems, Inc. is the leading provider of industrial refrigeration and process cooling solutions, delivering custom engineered systems utilizing natural refrigerants such as ammonia and CO₂. Job Role:
A Part-Time Service Technician is responsible for the repair, maintenance, & support of industrial refrigeration equipment for our valued customers. A working knowledge of commercial & industrial refrigeration and electrical controls is required to be successful in this role.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, about 14 hours per week
Pay:
Starting at $25/hour, dependent on experience
Key Duties:
Conduct routine daily, weekly, and monthly mechanical integrity inspections at client facilities. Regularly report inspection findings to the Service Manager. Accurately input inspection results into the system using a computer. Follow all safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
Must be a high school graduate or have attained a
GED, HVAC
tech school preferred Universal EPA certification OR ability to obtain Company is a tobacco-free workplace and, as such, no tobacco products are allowed during the workday on the job site(s). The position requires a pre-employment drug screening, felony screening, and motor vehicle record screening Excellent physical condition as you will be required to climb ladders and occasional heavy lifting. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly, and up to 75 pounds occasionally. Ability to stand, bend, crouch, and kneel for extended periods of time. Must be able to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in varying conditions (heat, cold, dust, noise). Must have the physical stamina to perform repetitive motions and remain on feet for most of the shift.
