Job Description The Service Technician I is responsible for completing installation, service and maintenance on various commercial HVAC systems. Working seamlessly with an experienced technician, while meeting our customers' HVAC needs with Integrity. This position requires travel as necessary .
Requirements:
Job Responsibilities (List is not inclusive) Working seamlessly with senior technician. Installing, maintaining, and repairing ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment. Perform preventative maintenances for a variety of commercial equipment. Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical faults for HVAC systems. Cleaning, adjusting, and repairing systems. Performing emergency repairs promptly and efficiently. Approaching every opportunity with a learning mindset. Provide high level customer service. Actively participate in NCCER Curriculum. Required Knowledge, skills, and abilities Understanding of HVAC components and terminology. Experience with inspection, repair, and maintenance of HVAC equipment Ability to perform a maintenance independently Experience w/ HVAC systems start-up/commissioning Basic knowledge of entry-level HVAC concepts such as basic electricity, air distribution systems, basic troubleshooting, soldering/brazing, etc High School Diploma or GED/Associate Degree or certification preferred Working knowledge of service tools and testing devices Ability to follow and communicate instructions and directions both verbally and written. Education and Experience High School Diploma Required. Technical school preferred. EPA Certified Valid Drivers' License// Minimum two years of HVAC experience required. Physical requirements Required to stand, walk, and sit. Talk or hear, both in person and by telephone. Use hand (s) and fingers to handle or feel objects or controls. Reach with hand (s) and arm (s). Regularly required to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch and lift up to 50 pounds. Drive. SVCOPS
