Pridestaff is working with a local, well-known manufacturer of speciality equipment serving a variety of industries that is seeking a Fiberglass Body Repair Technician to join their team. The Fiberglass Body Repair Technician will ensure product quality through inspection, repair, and finishing fiberglass bodies. The ideal Fiberglass Body Repair Technician candidate has at least 2 years of experience in fiberglass body repair (or related trade), is detail-oriented, and takes pride in high-quality craftsmanship. The Fiberglass Body Repair Technician is a full-time, temp-to-hire position in Humboldt, IA.
Fiberglass Body Repair Technician Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Using Proper Tools & techniques, Complete Structural & Cosmetic Fiberglass Repairs Identify Imperfections on Gel-Coat Surfaces; Sand, Buff &/or Polish to Achieve a Seamless Finish Safely Operate All Hand & Power Tools Including Orbital Sanders, Die Grinders, Drills, Spray Equipment & High-Speed Buffers Ensure Quality Standards are met Through Meticulous Parts Inspections Meet Daily Production Goals While Maintaining a Clean, Organized & Safe Work Area Collaborate with Team Members Follow All PPE & Safety Guidelines Additional Duties as
Assigned Fiberglass Body Repair Technician Job Requirements:
HS Diploma or GED Equivalent Must Have at least 2 Years of Experience in Hands-on Fiberglass Body Repair, Gel Coat Finish, or a Related Trade Must Have Experience in Identifying Surface Defects & Using Correct Compounds & Tools to Restore Finish Experience Using Pneumatic & Electric Power Tools is required Must Have Good Attention to Detail, be Reliable, Disciplined, & be Able to Work Effectively as Part of a Team in a Fast-Paced Environment Must be Able to Stand, Bend, Kneel, Squat, Climb Stairs, and Lift up to 50 lbs.
