Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Service Technician to join our team and drive excellence in equipment maintenance and repair within manufacturing environments. As a Service Technician, you will be instrumental in troubleshooting complex machinery, performing preventive maintenance, and delivering exceptional customer service to our clients. Your proactive approach and technical proficiency will help keep our customers scales running smoothly and efficiently. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair a wide range of industrial and non industrial scales, including mechanical scales and electronic scales. Utilize schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to troubleshoot electrical, mechanical issues as needed. Perform preventive maintenance tasks to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan. Operate precision measuring instruments such as voltmeters, ammeters, ohmmeters, and multimeters for diagnostics. (Not required can be trained) Conduct electrical diagnostics on low and high voltage systems, ensuring safety protocols are followed during all maintenance activities. (Mostly low voltage systems at first) Use CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software to document work orders, track maintenance history, and schedule future inspections. Collaborate with team members to analyze system failures and implement effective solutions that improve operational efficiency. Demonstrate excellent customer service skills by communicating clearly with clients about repair procedures and maintenance schedules. Adhere to safety standards related to electrical systems, welding procedures, high voltage work, and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Requirements -- All of below can be taught and trained -- Alcohol and drug screen is required Proven experience working in manufacturing facilities or industrial maintenance environments Knowledge of electrical troubleshooting and mechanical repairs. Ability to operate welding equipment such as stick welders safely and effectively. Familiarity with industrial electrician practices including low voltage wiring, electrical blueprint reading, and electrical system analysis. Experience using diagnostic tools like voltmeters, ammeters, ohmmeters, and troubleshooting pneumatic/hydraulic systems. Excellent analysis skills with the ability to diagnose complex equipment issues quickly. Strong communication skills in English for clear documentation and client interactions.
