We currently have an outstanding opportunity for a skilled service repair technician to join our team. This is a career oriented, full time role working onsite at our U.S. headquarters in Aurora, IL. Pay $22 to $28 per hour with full benefits. Please note the high end of the pay range requies 4 or more years of sewing machine repair experience. Job Summary The Service Technician is responsible for the maintenance and repair of all Company sewing, quilting and embroidery machines to Company standards. Troubleshoots problems and provides repairs in a professional and timely manner. Performs adjustments to factory specifications. Essential Functions Diagnose problems with Company products. Make adjustments or repairs. Troubleshoot electronics and various circuit boards. Follow all manufacturer's mandated protocols. Record and report on quality issues and trends. Competencies Customer focus and service attitude (friendly, courteous and helpful). Communication, ability to clearly converse on the phone and in email if needed. Mechanically inclined, skilled in the use of hand and power tools and test equipment. Ability to interpret exploded blueprints of machines, to interpret instructions, plans, schematics and diagrams and to use tools to assemble equipment. Ability to manage, organize and stock inventory and tools. Ability to communicate to and/or educate staff and customers on proper maintenance and operation of machines. Strong organizational skills. Basic computer skills. Required Education and Experience High school diploma or equivalent Two or more years' work experience with electromechanical machine repair and maintenance required. Preferred Education and Experience Certification in mechanical and/or electronic repair. Eperience with sewing machine repair preferred. Pay:
