This is an Hourly position. Overview
POSITION SUMMARY
​ The Service Technician repairs, delivers, and picks up durable medical equipment (DME) from people in the community. The Service Technician promotes good will with patients and caregivers while in the home. Upon delivery, the Service Technician instructs the patients and/or caregivers on the use of the equipment, including troubleshooting, assessing for safety concerns, answering questions, and providing feedback as needed. Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
High School/GED Other Licenses/Certifications:
Maintains a valid driver's license. Must have a good driving record substantiated by the Department of Motor Vehicles.
Experience:
1​ year of experience in healthcare and/or customer service.
Other skills/knowledge:
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software. Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented. OSF HealthCare is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
