We contractor and a multi-manufacturer distributor for commercial swimming pool chemicals, products, and equipment. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and acquiring new business from existing customers and cultivating new business. You will build strong relationships and drive sales for our commercial swimming pool product and service division. This is a field-based position requiring travel within your assigned territory. The company provides a computer and software system for recording activities, meetings, and project questionnaires, as well as uploading and follow-up tasks. Job Duties

• Prospect and generate new B2B leads through cold calling, networking, referrals, and territory canvassing.
• Conduct on-site consultations and product demonstrations.
• Continually cultivate new sales to the assigned customer base.
• Provide technical support or directions per industry standards and/or regulations to guide customers to maintain their swimming pool.
• Set up meetings for on-site visits with customers to gather information on project requirements and present products and services.
• Record daily activities and data gathered in the CRM for proper workflow processes.
• data, entry, workflows, transferring information from completed forms into CRM profiles daily.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth installation and customer onboarding.
• Track sales activity and maintain accurate records in CRM software. Job Requirements
• Proven experience in outside sales, preferably in B2B environments.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Interpersonal, verbal, and written communication abilities.
• Follow sales action plans and record them in the customer relationship management program.
• Conduct various types of appointments with a customer or prospective customer.
• Willingness and ability to understand industry chemicals, products, standards, and regulations.
• Maintain positive relationships with existing clients and continually increase sales. Qualifications
• Associate degree required
• Two-plus years of outside sales
• Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams and committees.
• Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
• Competent in Microsoft Office Suite, willing and able to learn SageCRM. Physical Demands and Work Environment
• Outside salesperson, drive to and from main office to the assigned regions' prospective and customer locations for meetings, deliveries, or training.
• When arriving at the site, you may need to walk a block to the entry point, and then from one end of the building to another, up and down stairs.

Utilize visual acuity to assess the surroundings, view equipment, read technical information, and/or use a touch pad or keyboard. May be required to make an occasional delivery; must be able to handle up to 60 lbs. An acute awareness of surroundings when entering a swimming pool natatorium, outdoor water park, and the mechanical pump room.
