At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Die Repair Technician / Tooling Technician to work with a leading manufacturing company in Pierceton. This role is vital for ensuring the efficiency, safety, and quality of die casting and trim dies used in production. Shift patterns Monday through Friday, 10:45 pm to 7:00 am Pay rates 28.00 - 32.00 USD hourly Essential requirements for Die Repair Technician / Tooling Technician Do you have experience repairing or maintaining die casting dies, trim dies, or similar tooling? Briefly describe. Can you read and interpret blueprints, cooling diagrams, and work instructions? Are you able to use measuring tools (tape measure to 1/32", micrometers, calipers)? Do you have experience with shop equipment (drill presses, grinders, saws)? Are you comfortable working in high heat (300-600°F) with personal protective equipment? Do you have experience replacing ejector/punch pins or similar parts? Any experience with welding, forklifts, or overhead cranes? Please specify. Role for Die Repair Technician / Tooling Technician Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on die casting and trim dies. Inspect, clean, and polish die cavities and surfaces to ensure quality standards. Troubleshoot tooling issues and replace damaged parts to restore functionality. Maintain water lines and cooling systems for optimal machine performance. Prepare tooling for shipment to external vendors when necessary. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment. Collaborate with the tooling team to support production continuity. Follow all safety, health, and environmental policies. Adhere to quality management system standards.
