Description:
Midway Motors Auto Group is seeking a skilled and motivated Automotive Technician to join our Service Team. The Technician will diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles while providing high-quality workmanship and an exceptional customer experience. What You'll Do Diagnose vehicle concerns and perform repairs and maintenance according to dealership and manufacturer standards. Complete work outlined on repair orders accurately and efficiently. Perform vehicle inspections and identify additional safety or maintenance needs. Communicate with the Service Advisor and/or Service Manager regarding additional repairs, unnecessary work, or delays. Coordinate with the Parts Department to obtain necessary parts. Document all work performed and recommended. Road test and inspect vehicles as needed. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of manufacturer technical information and participate in ongoing training. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Safely operate and maintain dealership tools and equipment. Maintain a professional appearance and represent Midway Motors Auto Group positively. Perform other duties as assigned. What We're Looking For Previous automotive technician experience preferred. Strong diagnostic, mechanical, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a team. Job Qualifications
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
(EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES) Post-secondary certificate in automotive industry Minimum of five years of experience as an Auto Technician Valid driver's license with satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) Must be able to wear required uniform and required safety equipment (both provided by the company).
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Ability to repair machines or systems using the needed tools. Analyze information and evaluate results to choose the best solution and solve problems. Control operations of equipment or systems. Use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems. Consider relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate one. Staying technically relevant and apply new knowledge to work. Maintain a clean and tidy work station as well as maintain the general shop area. Maintain a professional appearance.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Vision abilities required by this job include close vision as well as color vision. Employee will frequently lift 25 pounds, occasionally lift 50 pounds, and rarely lift 100 pounds with assistance.
